It is the year 2093 and planet Earth is unrecognizable from the world as we know it today. Two monumental forces have risen to power. Mythical Dragons hold half of the globe in their sway while futuristic Robots rule over the rest. Every human nation has chosen a side and their people have assimilated into either culture.
DRAGONS! The 9th Celestial Dynasty rules over China while the Sovereign State of Wyrmwood stretches across Western Europe. The islands of New Zealand are under the influence of the Vulcan Magistrate and North Africa has been renamed the Catacombs of Heliodor. South America is united under the banner of The Dawn Lands while The Yggdrasil Horde hunt the frozen tundra of the Canadian north. Each Dragon clan has its own culture, creed and beliefs, but all share one common goal. Dragons are protectors of the natural world and seek to return the Earth to its wild original state with verdant hills, huge forests and not a microchip in sight.
ROBOTS! Federated Protodynamics leads what was once the United States while the JASA Algorithmic Principality controls the Japanese Archipelago. The countries of the former U.S.S.R. are reunited as the Czarvac Mekazone and Central America is turned into a construction zone by the massive machines of the Foundry Robotica. The underwater kingdom of the Marinas Sub-oceanic Technosphere surrounds Australia and the animal-form robots of the Transvaal Cyberveldt have staked their claim in South Africa. Although each Robot Collective has its own operating system and directives, all share a common goal. Robots are dedicated to technology and seek to replace the natural world with more efficient machines.
PROTIUM POWER! In the early years of the 21st century the world suffered the effects of extreme climate change and vanishing natural resources. To generate a new and clean source of power, a series of experimental stations were built along the ancient and forgotten network of "Ley" lines. These "EnIGMA facilities" (Energetic Ion Generation & Manipulation Array) successfully produced a crystalline element called Protium that had once existed in abundance thousands of years ago. No one imagined that the re-introduction of Protium to the biosphere would awaken the Dragon Clans from hibernation or enable artificial intelligences to leave the Internet and inhabit massive robot bodies.
THE BALANCE OF POWER! The world of Dragons Vs Robots is in a state of constant conflict. Robots and Dragons test each other's borders and defense as they seek to control stores of Protium and remake the world in their own image. Some have drawn up tentative treaties or exist in a state of truce. Others engage in spying or acts of outright aggression. Neither side will back down. More importantly... which side will YOU choose?
